You are right. Maybe more of an hourglass. But the idea of apple or pear shape is torso length. The apple shapes are usually curvier (even skinny gals), while the pear shape have large bottoms and thighs and less shapely -more stretched out.
Maybe I am getting too much into this.
Men: Do you like women to have a pear or apple shape body?
