Most people date all their lives. Senior Centers are full of sexually active people, and nursing homes have a lot of sexually active patients too. The staff rarely talks about this.
I never considered age an issue once above the Age of Consent. When I was a teenager I would have dated any woman of any age that was willing to date... and met my criteria as a decent person. Same rules essentially apply now, except I'm a lot more selective based on life experience (and most teenagers and 20 somethings tend to lack adequate mental maturity for me since I was in my mid 30's). Also, my wife would have to approve now that we are married (she has that right).
