Please can someone tell me if I'm in the wrong I'm mother in law is coming to fl to see us my husband keeps telling me he should go pick her up from airport alone because if I go his sister will be make cause she has to work and won't be able to what does that have to do with me going iv never meet his mom before and I would think as a family I would be going to but I guess he feels his sister feelings are more then mine she is 45 year old fuk grown ass women and I feel I get treated like shit I don't get it one or two things are going on he's ashamed of me or don't give a fuk. is it normal to feel this way?

    Holy hell, that was headache-causing to read. Word freaking salad.

    Anyway, I had a similar thing with my ex-wife. She knew I got along extremely well with my hot older sister, and tried to stop me from being around her at times. Would always want to leave gatherings early, and, one time, not long after we arrived, wanted to go. Sister told me let her go, you stay with me overnight, and I'll take you home tomorrow. I was mad that the wife wanted to leave not 20 minutes into the gathering, so..Told her go home, I'll stay with older sister and she'll take me home tomorrow "at some point". Wife left in a mood, and I had a great time all day and night with my older sister. Really had fun.

    Next day, I get home, and we get into it, with these same words..It's me, or your sister. From that point forward, I attended most gatherings by myself, staying with her several more times.

    It's a family affair. You may now be considered family but she doesn't know you. Don't you think it would be nice to let her get settled a little before being hounded with meeting new people right off the plane? For most, plane rides are stressful and draining. She doesn't have the energy to entertain you or make you feel special. Sorry, but your ego is a little more than it should be. She is coming to visit. Its about her. Not you. You think she came there just to see you?! She wants to see her sister and her son. Chill the fuck out. You're too sensitive and also a little selfish.

    The mother-in-law is going to see you when she gets there from the ride back from the airport. It's not a big deal, don't take it so personally.

    You know, when reading these types of posts I start to wonder what happened to increased. He/She commented on just about every story and then disappeared. Coincidence? I think not!
