Oh OK, that's sort of what I thought OP was saying but I was trying to get her/him to be clearer.
So there's an unplanned pregnancy, she doesn't want to have a termination but he wants her to, so he signs something giving up any rights and presumably she undertakes not to ask for child support? I supposed that's fair, except to the child who may want to know who his/her father is at some stage.
Here's an interesting and slightly relevant story from the 60's: it was a common practice back then when unmarried pregnant women later took the father to court for child maintenance, for him to claim she was promiscuous and had had sex with all his mates, who would come along to court and back up the story. The intention was to make her appear a slut who had no idea who the baby's father was and cases would be dismissed. A very enlightened magistrate I knew, decades before his time, solved this problem by telling the bloke & his mates that in that case he would divide the maintenance for the child equally between them. Good one, eh?

Of course I'm not suggesting to forcibly terminate the pregnancy, anyways I was just asking people about their opinion of the proposed law.
