Makeout dreams, cuddles, and unrequited like-like (is it love??!)

Okay, here's the deal. I've been friends with this great girl for about two years now. One year ago, I asked her out, and she said no, but we've still been tight friends ever since. Recently, we've been talking and hanging out more now that I'm out of school, and I'm starting to like her again... but I'm uncertain of what I should do. So, she sends me a text that she had this dream where she was arguing with her friend or somesuch, but then the friend leaves, and she made the first move on me; we ended making out. Then, (this is strange) she says she was with some friends of mine (and me), when she hears my friends telling me we should ditch her, but then suddenly we're together in a car that I apparently hijacked. *snort*
I know it's really strange, and I honestly can't tell if there's something she's trying to get across, or if she told me just to *hint* at something. Thoughts? Flames will be ignored, and any advice is deeply appreciated. After all, this is the girl I've had lingering feelings about for 3 years... :-/

However, there are new developments. At my weekly D&D game, she tagged along, and everyone started talking about cuddles! And I love cuddles! And, so does this girl! In fact, later that night, I ended up hanging out with her at her apartment, watching movies and whatnot, with the exception that WE CUDDLED. *shocker* Now, the question I pose is this: Is it normal that a girl who said she had no attraction to me before suddenly be okay with cuddling, but not having had develop feelngs for me? I'm thoroughly flustered, and I know what I'd do, but I'd love to hear some feedback.

    Chances are, she likes you. Or else she could just be a tease. But I've done this kind of stuff, because I DEVELOP feelings for tem. (:

    friends don't slap each other on the ass.... I don't think. Anyway, flirting is sooo going on between you two. Trust me, ASK HER OUT NOW!!! If you don't do it, one of your dork friends will move in on her.

      XD All of my dork friends are either taken, or she can't stand them. :P And if you knew how we are, you'd be surprised how little we SHOULD be slapping eachother. XD
      Again, I'm simply scared of an awkward situation, but I think the next time it happens, I should ask her out. It can't hurt too much even if she says no, and at least I'll be free to pursue other people. Also, I find that she really only cuddles in one way: With her head in my lap, curled up in a ball. I'll just sit there and play with her hair when we watch bad horror movies. :D

    It sounds like she might be hinting that she likes you. Girls usually like guys to make the first move, so they tend to drop hints hoping that he'll do something. Unfortunately, it can sometimes be hard to tell the difference between this flirting and plain old friendliness. If she's a rather affectionate person who often likes touching people and giving them hugs and stuff, it could just be that. But if her affections seem to be aimed mainly at you, she probably likes you.

      Hmm. She implies that she likes cuddles, but she doesn't touch people that much... maybe she does! :D That's what I'm worried about, I don't want to confuse friendliness (or friendly cuddles) with actually being into me... I'm just afraid I'll strain the friendship.

        We cuddled, again. And, with the help of her friend, I spanked her and left a huge red welt on her butt. :D I want to ask her, but I'm afraid she'll shy away from me... I can't tell if it's 'friends' like you, or if she actually wants to pursue something serious...

    I think it's very possible she's developing feelings for you. Especially if she's telling you about a dream where you guys made out. My advice (I'm a girl just so you know) is to let it play out a bit longer, let this stuff happen, try to move it along but don't be pushy. Don't let her think that you're uninterested (she might assume that if she doesn't get any response to this) but don't do something too assertive, because she might not be totally sure yet how she feels.

    This probably dosent help anymore but I know a lot of girls how asked me to cuddle with them but only one girl I liked I chased after her when I was 6 to 12 and dropped little hint that I liked her but she never found out so when I asked her out she was confused but we had even kissed on the lips dude make a noticeable move

    D&D? Geez - people still play that?! She's gotta be into you if she's going to your D&D games - don't those last like 3-6 hours? Haha - that is commitment of time. She sooo likes you.
