My sister is getting married. She is having a destination wedding and spending lots of money on it. I am her only sister. Shouldn't I be
In the wedding party. I feel bad because she is having five peole stand up for her and I am not one of them. She hasn't even talked to me about it. I don't want to being it up to her but I feel hurt by it. What do you think? Is it normal to not be a brides maid?

    You need to ask her, hon. Just "I was wondering exactly what my role is? Am I a bridesmaid or a guest?" If she isn't planning on having you as a bridesmaid, you'll just have to swallow it...harsh, but it's her day, her decision.

    It's her wedding so it should be about her and what she wants. It's normal to have Your feelings hurt but don't say anything to her about it cause when you get married you'll want whoever you want in your wedding and you won't want to worry about what other people want

    I would expect her to include you as a bridesmaid or maid of honour. Best if you talk to her about it, let her know how you feel.
