Good luck finding an opening at college. Waiting list at my local technical college is 2 years just to take the class.
Pass that and get some experience under your belt and you will do well.

California is a cesspit. If you are cool with working with swarms of homeless and immigrants, it's a great job. If you dont want to, pretty much every job will have less homeless and more regular people.
Reason why I'm singling out california here is because they have the highest rate of homelessness. I dont know about you but if I was a nurse I'll be more inclined to see a labor union working Joe's hemroid than treating a drug addicted homeless person.
