Lucid dreams that continues from previous nights

This is new to me. For the past 4 days now ive been having a nightmare that i can control. It has been affecting my sleep to the point i wake up every hour or so. But every time i go back to sleep my nightmare just continues from where i left off. This is starting to frustrate me. Normally i can just control my dreams and everything is alright. But like i said the last 4 days its been a non stop dream no matter how many times i go back to sleep. Someone please help me!!
Ive tried going to bed at different times different places doing different things. But each time the nightmare continues as if i hit the pause button then the play button over and over.

Pray before bed and dont think about it anymore, focus on everything else but that nightmare.

Sometimes, I actually find bizarre dreams interesting, I kind of like some of them. They're like these bizarre adventures so different from reality, almost a sort of escape. It's like these dreams don't make sense, but while they're happening, I'm not fully able to comprehend why they don't make sense until I'm remembering them after I've woken up. I read somewhere that one of the reasons they don't make sense is that when you're having weird dreams, the parts of your brain that control reason and figuring are shut off, but the parts of your brain simply experiencing and liking/disliking are running active. In a sense, it's like you're temporarily 3 or 4 years old again brainwise until you wake up. But I remember the dreams pretty good after waking and am thinking about how weird and illogical yet intriguing they were.

Im being chased by dark entities. I can escape most of the time by running off or leaping into flight. But when i do fight, its always shadow figures but they get stronger each time i get in conflict with them.
Ive tried altering my perception of them and giving myself different weapons to fight them. But no matter how many of them i fight off or escape from they just seem to multiply.

I've had similar dreams, and if I can bring myself to pray during the dream via lucid dreaming I have found that the nightmare stops. It works for me at least. If you can lucid dream, give it a try. When it happens to me I stop running in my dream, face the thing and start praying the Our Father, and it usually stops.

I don't know much about dreams tbh but I've had recurring nightmares and dreams that followed on from each other ..
I would say it's fairly normal unless you're experiencing anything else while you're awake ..
I'd give it a while before consulting a doctor unless the lack of sleep is effecting you, because lack of sleep can make nightmares worse ..
Sometimes dreams are just dreams, brains are weird xD

You are the troll. You're just jealous because this person is having a magical experience. You're probably some Mormon or Catholic or Hindu (or of some organized religion) and you're not allowed to talk about the gospel or psychic things and you're mad jealous. Well guess what? I'm the real race car baby and I'm telepathic to the point of being psychic.

Now go cry to your prophet and request a Lancaster like weaklings such as you are trained to do.

Who said having dreams is magical? Dreams are just the workings of your inner brain while you sleep. I knew that when I was 5.

I think your brain is angry at you because when you're awake you're not scared of anything. Your brain is asking for a good fright.

Simply try to realize what is potentially scary when you're awake so that your brain doesn't get bored. Also remember to be afraid of people when you're awake so your brain doesn't get mad at you.

I'm not saying you need to be fearful. Just the opposite. You need to be brave. You see, your brain thinks you're denying being afraid when you have reason to. Imagine a bully and the kid he's pushing around doesn't get scared so the bully starts plotting to completely humiliate the kid. The only thing your brain can do is give you nightmares.

Perhaps there is a potentially dangerous situation you're not acknowledging.
