Yeah, he was the best, little buddy I ever had, and Ive had pets all my life.
I remember once when I first moved to Delaware, and my folks, and I were living together. I was in the kitchen, and I heard a yell from the master bathroom, and asked my mom if I should go check on my dad. She said yes, so I went to make sure everything was okay, but he was in the water closet. I just barely cracked the door to ask if he was okay, and the stench was as if he'd been eating roadkill, so naturally I shut the door, and kinda screamed, because it smelled so bad. Well, I hadn't even been able to walk out of the master bedroom when my Siamese cat comes running in to make sure I'm okay. He hears me scream, and he runs toward the screaming.
One time when I still lived in Las Vegas, I was living in a two storey townhouse with my parents, and I saw that my dad had mindlessly left the door between the garage, and rest of the house open while the garage door was up as well. Anyway, I was climbing up the stairs, and saw my cat walking towards the open doors so I went to jump down the steps, but somehow I must have thought I was only up one, or two steps when it was probably more like three, or four. I didn't even bother to turn my stupid ass around, I just jumped, and flung myself off the steps, and landed flat on my back, and head on the floor. I don't remember if I screamed, or not, but the first one to come to my aid was my Siamese cat, Andrew! He was a downright doting little guy! He was one of the biggest blessings God has ever bestowed upon me in all my life!
I honestly think I would have been a a different person, a less depressed, less angry, more loving and caring person had I grown up with the privilege of a Siamese cat, or had my folks at least kept our two dogs, and orange tabby cat indoors, and allowed them to sleep with my sister, and I in our rooms.
Animals are good for children's souls, and help them to learn responsibility, and have compassion for others, not to mention all that love and affection animals, especially dogs, and cats give children.
Love is useless

I really appreciate you sympathy!
