I have ED, but I'm sure not reacting to it by smashing apartments up in fits of rage. I'm not even that upset about having ED, I'm 44 and I know it's normal for it to decrease with age. I mean I wasn't happy finding that out but I'm nowhere even slightly near the level of violently distructing property over it.
Hi. I'm not the OP. But I hope to God that he doesn't have a tube up his cock like I do.
I don't get why anyone would want to start talking nonstop about tube up cocks, I don't know, I don't get some people at all.
Before you get annoyed, try one of these tubes out for yourself. Here's a picture.

Bruh you can fix that, get some plaster, compound, sandpaper, paint, and some screws for the cabinets.
You fucked up, you need to fix your fuck up.
You're being a baby. He didn't cause shit. Life sucks sometimes, but it's how we respond to it that ultimately leads to our success or downfall. You chose to respond like a 2 year old and trash his apartment (note that I said "his". He owns it, you're just renting it). This is on you, not him.
And get help for your rage problem.
Nobody caused it except you. Grow up and get yourself to anger management classes.
I don't see ANY possible way that he would've caused you to smash up the apartment other than him telling you "You better smash up the apartment or else!!", and since I SERIOUSLY doubt that he said anything like that, I'd have to say that this is 100% your fault. It sounds like you had an argument or something with him, and your angry reaction was to smash the apartment, but you decided to blame him because according to you, him not agreeing with you, on whatever it was you argued about, him not agreeing with you made you decide to smash the apartment up. And, that made it his fault? No, Uh-uh!! Learn to take responsibility, and learn to control your anger! It's not cool to start destructing property in fits of rage whenever you feel like it. You need serious help controlling your anger.
Bullshit. Your landlord may have annoyed you, but you made the decision to respond as you did.
Accept that fact and you will have made a significant step towards growing up.
You probably can learn wall repair and cabinetry while you complete your prison sentence. I seriously doubt that your security deposit will cover the amount of damage you described. Besides that is vandalism not a simple issue of one hole because you lost your temper. One hint, don't pick up the soap if you drop it in the shower. You will probably learn a new definition for the term "bitch".
You can't just leave and say keep the security deposit. If the damage is more than the security deposit, he's going to come after you for the balance. He can sue.
yeah but he won't, my friend said landlords dont sue because its not worth it to them and they end up spending more trying to go after a tenants money
Some places have formal or informal blacklists of tenants which landlords check prior to renting. Hopefully, you'll be on a local list as soon as the landlord finds out about your criminal damage to his property.
Some landlords are greedy scuzzballs, but you're the sort of stupid, irresponsible tenant that makes life harder for decent renters.
Dude, that's totally not normal! You obviously have a really short temper, and a rage problem. I think you should see a therapist, and get some professional help. Please check out the below website!

Also, stay away from drug, and alcohol abuse.
P.S. About what were you so insanely mad?
I agree. Thats messed up. If youre damaging other peoples property you need to get help.
Alcohol probably helped add to his anger. And if it's really hot out where the OP is at, like it is in alot of the US now, that probably fuelled his anger too. The combination of drinking and hot humid weather over 90° already makes people more temperamental, and then add that to someone with rage issues. I garuntee that the OP had both been drinking and it was like 95° out when he flipped his shit out on the apartment and his landlord.
If it doesn't already fast forward to it, go to about 3:05 and soon after, there is the tantrum he threw.

On a side note, damn that fuckin album is still so, well it is a spiritual experience.
a lota things led up to it but my landlord pushed me over the edge with new rules about the garbage pick up that dont make sense, i cant deal with petty bull crap right now.
Ah ok so you just smash his place to bits. Sounds like you have no ability to regulate emotions which is kind of how babies behave. I predict you will end up on the street or in prison.
Is this the first time you've had to deal with a rule that made no sense to you? I guess Mommy and Daddy never said no to you?
If you continue to respond in violent, destructive ways every time you encounter a rule that seems unreasonable, then you're going to spend a lot of your income paying for the damage you cause, and you may well find yourself in a cell at some point.
Yes, deliberate destruction of public property or of someone's else's private property can get you in jail. It depends on how much damage, what was damaged, how intentional the act was, and if someone else got hurt in the process. That latter one would definitely get them in alot of trouble. If it was a move of deliberate destruction and someone got injured from it, they will definitely go to jail.
do not put your garbage in the containers until the morning of garbage pick up which is really inconvenient because i dont have time in the morning. he only said it because some raccoons got in the garbage and spread trash everywhere one time i accidentally left the lid open overnight
So basically what this comes down to is that you fucked up, the rules have been changed to take account of the fact that you can't be relied on to behave responsibly, and you're pissed off about this.
You call leaving the lid off the garbage container an "accident", but an accident is something that happens by random chance. A mini-tornado didn't come down and pluck the lid off the garbage container; you simply didn't put it back like you should have.
Calling that an "accident" again indicates that you need to learn to take responsibility for your own actions, and you need to learn to be more attentive to what you do.
You say you don't have time to take the garbage out in the morning, but the obvious solution is for you to simply haul your sorry ass out of bed a couple minutes earlier. If that's difficult for you, don't stay up so fucking late.
Seriously, dude, you sound like a walking pile of immaturity, ignorance and irresponsibility.
I hope he sues you for everything. Besides who is to say this isn't going happen again? Soon enough no one will rent to you.
He needs some serious anger management therapy, some mellow out drugs like Kilonipin or Ativan, and to stop any stressor drugs like crack, pcp, meth, or alcohol. Alcohol really makes people more angry, I would be surprised if he hadn't been drinking at the time of his rage-filled smash out. And I wouldn't be surprised if it was over like 90° when he raged out too. The combo of alcohol and hot humid weather is like pouring gasoline on a fire, especially if the person already has anger control issues, like this OP obviously has.
Lost your temper?
Get real.
Ive heard simular crap countless times.
weather its a wall, a wife, a child, or a pet.
You just lost it right?
B.S.
You never lost it on the cop asking stupid questions.
The thug asking the time of day.
The bouncer asking to see your I.D.
YOU DIDNT LOSE A THING.
You willingly took out your anger on something defenseless.
