I don't like the institution of prostitution for various reasons, not the least of which is that it exploits, and objectifies women. However, I gave you a thumbs up for your second paragraph!
I get where you're coming from but prostitution is necessary. There's a reason they call it "the oldest profession" - prostitution is one of those things that is inevitable in all societies no matter what. The law only serves to make it more or less safe. I prefer the safer option of making it legal and regulated, but each to their own.
The truth is that I have for sympathy for prostitutes than I do for their clients. Those guys are scumbags. Like I said I don't respect guys like that.
