I have one, but we live in a two bedroom house and have plenty of privacy in our rooms. I do not own the house but am the primary "renter". Long story but anyways.
What one needs to do is figure out what you can or cannot live with. My number one rule is this - I told her she is not to bring her own room mates to live. That one is not negotiable.
Other simpler ones are things like clean up after yourself and contribute to the groceries and bills.
We live very similar lifestyles so things like loud parties or fights are not a problem (we do not party).
Adults living together will sometimes butt heads but the question is - are they merely minor disagreements or is this person screwing up your life?
Yeah but is he (or she?) one of those hardcore bible thumpers?
Some who identify as christian have their faith but don't try cramming it down others' throats.
EDIT - ok so I read the other post after writing this.
IN my case it is probably different because I am over 40 and she is under 30. By the time you get to be over 40, people just don't mess with you. Tsss... one of the few benefits of aging.
She? Lol I wish. No he isn't too hardcore or open about it, but if you corner him with a question he will do what the bible says. You can read my original comment on this post for more info. He already hates me a little bit. I need a new roommate lol.
