Thirty-three per cent of men (compared with 16 per cent of women) had never left home and 45 per cent of men from two-parent families (compared with 15 per cent from stepfamilies and 26 per cent from sole-parent families) had not lived away from home.

25% of men aged 25 to 29 now live with their parents. This is almost double the proportion of women in their late 20s (13%) who still live at home.
and 1 in three of these people do it because they like a full fridge cooked meals and cheap rent.
i left home when i was 16 and went flatting i was studying full time at a poly tech and working part time at a McDonald's (selling drugs was just a side line) but leaving home so early has made my life now possibly a little harder as it is harder to save money and get the things you need but has also made me independent and prepared me for life.
