Sounds like your cleaning standards are a bit too high for the people you are living with. On the other hand, you could try not cleaning at all for like 1 week, eventually they will get annoyed at the mess and will clean. Or try to introduce a cleaning scedual.
I live with a few "roomies", 2 guys 1 girl and the girl tends to complain, whilst the guys don't really do much cleaning because they don't care that much.
