Years ago things totally changed in my life. That was the time I started imaging things. I imagined a loving and caring family (not rich or occupying a high social status). It is all in the same place where it is in real life. I never had any friends .It has been 7years now I am not able to get over it.
If anyone out there is the same as me , let's share our thoughts might be it helps us lessen our problem.
I have only one friend who I see once per week. To fill the void, I imagine that my tropical fish are my friends. I have tried on-line dating, but have never gotten a response from any of the women.
I think it is easier to have imaginary friends in a real world than real friends in an imaginary world. Please note that IIN is an imaginary troll world. I'm trying to make friends here. It's a tough crowd.
Wow! I've done a similar thing, I'm a writer and I write a bunch of personal stories where I have very loving and caring parents and so on.
Probably because I didn't have the best parents (my dad was absuisve and my mom kind of ignored me) and I have some form of amnesia.
I suppose it's not that I live in a imaginary world, more just in my head and in my stories.
Btw I'm 23, do not take drugs and might be suffering from depersonalization/derealization disorder.

Maybe you should appoint yourself to an exorbitantly high-priced position in the imaginary world of Big Government, where things in the real-world rarely happen.
I had an imaginary friend when i was 9 , but he slowly faded , i cant remember what he looks like now
That's great! How did it happen? Why did it happen ? What I have to do to get rid of this?
its a long story lol ,but in summary, when i was like in 2nd grade i lost most of my teeth and i was bullied , didnt have friends , i had to wear Dentures as a little kid ( fake teeth set that old people wear) , but then i made friends and everyday i would remember my invisible friend less and less everyday
