Have you ever been attracted to someone ugly?I am attracted to a tall and well dressed but not attractive man. He has a clumsy walk which makes him look funny especially since he walks hunched over with his shoulders and he has wide shoulders and very slim hips. He also has a deep forehead wrinkle, an extremely intense gaze and unevenly placed eyes and he usually looks extremely miserable or angry. He is oddly attractive from the side though.. and he always smells good. Well honestly he is attractive from many different angles but not from the front. My mom always said he looks like a mental serial killer but I would keep trying to argue he's better looking in real life. I dont know why i'm so attracted to him. We were friends who have tried to date but we cant work it out because of certain problems of his that he may or may not decide to do something about eventually. Either way we're not in touch (except from the occasional checking up message) now but on good terms though i'm still very attracted to him. Sometimes I look at a photo of him and I am like "wtf" to myself. Is this normal?

    what might look "ugly" to me could look "hot" for you and vice versa. each person has different tastes/preferences in a partner, no one is the same

    Why does your mother... describe him as a "mental serial killer"? Have you ever asked her why she thinks that way? Or is your mother generally very judgmental and does she typically hate on people for the way they look and dress?

    Whether, or not the person is actually ugly is a matter of opinion. If I'm attracted to someone then that person isn't ugly, at least not ugly by my standards.

    I've never been attracted to anyone who I personally felt was ugly.

    Not from my own perception, but as a teen I once overheard someone calling my crush ugly. I also have been attracted to some guys that were obese (but always had a preference for athletic body types)

    Ive knowm girls like that that I was very attracted to. But they were never that.ugly they just looked average to everyone else and a super model to me
