Lights in pool

Ever since I was a baby I was never afraid of lights in pools but at 1 stage in a pool when I was 10 there were lights and ever since then I have been so scared I stay out of the pool

Is It Normal?

    I hate lights near the front door because of the bugs that fly around them. But I have to just bite the bullet in order to go inside!
    Try swimming during the evening before the lights come on. As they go on, you may see that they aren't that scary. Hey! I should've come home early before the bugs took over!
