  • Giving up is easy. Giving up, feeling sorry for yourself, blaming every circumstance around you.

As you type this, there is a cripple training for a marathon. As you type this, a child who was told that they would be permanently disabled from having a normal life by a mental handicap is going to college. As you type this, a single mother is staying up all night on the computer, taking online classes to get their degree in the few precious minutes that their child is asleep. As you type this, someone is making the effort to move forward, despite all of the odds and that someone could be you.

You're young. You have the rest of your life ahead of you, so move forward. I know, I understand, everyone's hell is different and pain can not be compared, but if you have any concern for your happiness, you need to get your ass up and move forward. If you give up now, you'll never get anywhere. That's the problem with a lot of people my age (and your age). They feel that a little effort should go a long way.

If someone told you that, tell them to shove it. You're going to have to work hard for a long time. Get going, you're wasting your youth.
