Lgbt people, how did you come out?

Never saw a reason to “come out of the closet” unless you were in a same-sex relationship to be honest. Or just as a ‘disclaimer’ to someone you’re dating.
Those who know, know - and those who don’t, don’t need to. Doesn’t make it a secret or shameful or anything

Meh, not everyone knows I'm Bi. I really don't feel a need to go blabbing it to the whole town.

Haven't decided to come out and I don't see myself doing so in the near future. I mean, no one has ever caught me lube-handed masturbating.

Never going to come out ever. I don't want to get alienated by every one around me.

I don't advertise or put up a billboard but I don't make extreme efforts to hide it.

If somebody ask and I think it is any of their business I'll tell them I'm bi I don't deny it.

ppl don't really come out,. they either get caught or they feel the need for attention because their sex life is not as powerful anymore!

I was 25 when I told my mom I’d been fucking my best friend all through 6th-9th grade.

I'm no contact with my parents for reasons outside if this so I've never come out to them. I came out when I was about 20 to my Male partner at the time (not yet realizing he was abusive), he said it was a phase and gaslit me.

I think you'd only need to come out if you're being asked out by the opposite gender and you prefer those of the same gender. I'm straight but I didn't even know my friends were lesbians until I said that guy seems nice you should date or why did you turn him down etc and they'd say they're into women. I feel like coming out isn't supposed to be a speech lmao we're in 2022 not 1952, it's pretty normal so no need to make an announcement
