Guns aren't necessary, and neither is weed. But guns do so much more harm than good. Sure it's the 5th amendment in the US, but times have changed since those amendments were created. I believe guns should never be allowed in public, but having one in your home to protect your family and yourself from intruders is perfectly fine.
