Left my friends and didn't even keep in touch.

About 2 years ago, i moved from where i used to live, and i didn't even keep in touch with them. Would that be considered selfish or uncaring?

Is It Normal?

  • >.> <.< I'm kind of guilty of this too. I forget to reply to e-mails...or I get lazy. One of my buddies who went back to his home country in Bangladesh gave me his cell phone number and told me to text him a few months ago...saved the number on my computer, but never text the poor guy. So..to make myself feel better, I'm going to say it's normal. :D! (might be a tad bit uncaring. But I don't think it'll be the end of the world for them.)

  • 2 years is a long enough time so no - you've just drifted apart. Unless, as the person above indicates, they have reached out & you have just snubbed them.

  • Maybe, if they were repeatedly trying to contact you and you were ignoring them, that would be rude.

It is normal to lose touch with childhood friends or any friends that don't live near you. You'll notice this more as you get older.
