    not a bad idea, but i would also sit down in the room alone and just politely introduce yourself to her and explain that you will now be moving in, and mean her no disrespect but will be painting,and getting situated,ect. i'm sure she will understand,just DON'T be rude or demanding..no one likes that, not even spirits! please let us know how it goes,ok?
