Someone who posts about trolls, especially the accused "mistreatment" of a troll....is the one who needs a life. That means you, obviously. You do not "use" the site and just read, you are way too emotionally involved and acting ridiculously bitter about something that "apparently" has nothing to do with you, your life or posts/comments. Sounds like a scorned troll, one who is mad at people because they do not think you're funny or give you a hard time.
You actually took the time to post about trolling and "waste of space" when this post appears to be the biggest waste of story space, you are trying to justify ignorance and harassment, intended to offend others. Trolling is never intended to be humorous, some try, but fail more than often. Which leads to the cases of someone spending countless hours online, trying to offend people, because they hate everyone and themselves and actually have no life, etc etc.
Who cares? apparently you. As a troll/troll advocate; you should know better and get over it. People either ignore them, which they are used to, or call them out. They can dish it out, but cannot take it, typical. Ultimately you just need a life. Realizing how much effort and energy you put into a pointless observation/post, that isn't all that complex or important; we already know how many trolls try to find something in life, anything, that gives them some form of attention or interaction with actual people. Often to no avail. They end up leaving the site, or desperately try to avoid banning and create multiple accounts. Like the biggest troll here, who admitted ridiculous nonsense to me, as his "reason" and encouragement to troll. In the end, they lose. They really hate that.
You saw that comment? Only desperate people try to hit others below the belt. It is bad character. I kind of forgot about it. Your comment about people trolling pretty much hits the nail on the head.
I did, I of course cannot read any "newest post", or interesting post here, without coming across Crusades and the onslaught of harassment. It's always a comment-war that he looks for, as his aim is towards frequent users (as he stated to me, he loves people who have apparently encouraged him to troll, by simply existing) But when I saw him take a cheap shot at you, I could not accept that as ok, in any way. Which is why I went on a rant, not accepting the idea that people/trolls like him should be "justified" as harmless or "coddled". That kind of disrespectful attitude can really harm someone who can't take ridicule. Not saying you were upset or even thought twice about it, but I did. I genuinely respect anyone in service and support people who risk their lives for our country. He evidently supports the luxuries of freedom, just not the people who made it possible. Not to steer off into the politics of war/freedom etc. Apologies for going there.
Ultimately, people who advocate trolling, should look a little harder at the content a troll leaves as opposed to analyzing the complaining, of the "fed up" users.
Leave the trolls alone and get a life!

Absolutely!
I admit, I was enraged with that Afghanistan comment.

I saw that too and hurt my face and broke the screen trying to lunge through my phone.
