I have horrible sinus issues and that happens to me too.. Prop your head don't lay flat in bed. It helps
Fill your nose with urine and see if that dose not flush it out. do this for tree weeks. And like once a year when system comes back. If you slip up and eat and drink dairy products. your nose could start to bleed all the time. But go to a Dr. and get some the best nasal antibiotics. Stop all dairy products and eggs, stay away from corn syrup and glutton. Drink lots of water no more soda. Now you will breath. Buy tiny fan for night when you go to sleep.
Not normal. This could be for a variety of reasons, but I think that it works be best to see a doctor, like an ENT.
When you lie back your nasal cavity can block your airway because it has nowhere to go but back, for instance, nasal drip, etc. Rather than blowing your nose, you'll be sleeping for hours and eventually the blocked airway can cause some serious snoring. Get nose strips, vapor rub, dehumidifier, etc. This kid of thing especially gets worse in winter.
I get the same way! It is very annoying especially when I am trying to get to sleep!
Sounds like allergies. It could be the detergent, cotton, mattress, pillow, pets, or dust. Maybe a plant outside your house. It could also be your diet, dairy, eggs, wheat, fatty foods, refined carbs, pastries, and beer can cause excess mucous. Eating more fruits and vegetables will help, especially pineapple and grapefruit (not necessarily together). And spicy food is good for clearing those sinuses.
