Unfortunately there are elderly people who die without a partner and I do not want to fear that because I will always have myself. Besides, that's less stress to deal with. I love being single because it gives you so much time for yourself and you don't have to worry about one more person. I'm a teenager so nowadays I get to sit back and literally watch other people have troubles in their relationships. I'm just too young to be involved in that. I heard a story of my own mother who is turning 56 that her first heartbreak was with some asshole when they were teenagers in her home country. And then I wrap my head around it and I'm like: it all makes sense. We're too young to be worried about that crap. We have our whole lives to fall in love (whatever the hell that means). For goodness sakes, 50% of marriages fail in divorce. That's got to mean something. Even the successful marriages aren't that awesome. I'll avoid that as much as I can! Let's change "Forever Alone" to "Forever Free".
