Ladies: don't you want guys looking at you in bikinis, dresses, etc?

I'm a 21 yr old guy and it bothers me that girls seem to have a double standard with who can look. I say this because my buddy just got bitched out 2 nights ago for looking at a girl's cleavage in this tight dress she was wearing. I promise you he wasn't being weird.

But that is what I don't understand, if you ladies are going to wear anything at all that is revealing in some manner whether it be ass boobs or legs then don't you HAVE to expect guys to look? And guys of all ages too from early teens to upwards of 60s.

I mean it is crazy if some people can look and others can't. So my question is as written above: Do you or don't you want guys looking at you/checking you out when you show off your rack, your tight ass in jeans or something like that?

Of course they can look, and the women can be disgusted by it..

You can't expect people to never look, but you should have the right to not rudely be stared at.
One more thing, not all women want the same, all women are different and not that different from men, they are not another species.

Women are strange and mysterious creatures of unknown origin. Some say they are related to the Bermuda Triangle mystery, and possibly Big Foot.

The only time I look at somebody for more than necessary is if I like their outfit, or think they're truly gorgeous.

I mean, how are you specifically looking? If you're ejaculating all over your fucking leg then I'm guessing a girl wouldn't appreciate that. Look, don't stare. Staring in general is rude anyways, no matter if you're male, female, dressed promiscuously or reserved.

I'd rather have someone look at me for a second than catcalls, honking the horn of their car, etc.

I mean if you want to stare at someone's assets just go look up porn.

Why does everyone always ask me this when it's unrelated to the story? If you want to ask me something personally, shoot me a PM. I don't want to be disrespectful to OP by going off topic. :c

PM is only if they or you have gold.

I don't know if you have gold because I can't view your profile (on mobile anyway) so if it's unviewable, that's another reason people can't PM you.

This is just how I see it myself:

A girl who dresses nicely does want attention. But there are different kinds of attention.

Nice compliments are usually well appreciated, but howling or goggling is usually not.
There is nothing wrong with noticing it, but everything should be done with good taste, eh?

Yes, some girls can seem "overly sensitive" in how men look at them or whatever, but it just depends on the person. Not every girl is going to react the same.

We are all our own personalities.

Overall: Just have a nice and normal conversation getting to know the person. That way, you'll get to know how they react with social-interaction and all that. After all, we're all people!

I'm a straight women and even I look ! If almost all of your boobs or ass is showing it's gonna jump in the eyes of almost everybody...I don't know what they expect. It's like the butt crack of a fat ugly men, nobody really want to stare at it but it's there flashing in your face and you can't help it.(or perhaps this unfortunately only happens to me)
Anyway, If I make myself pretty and a guy stare I really don't mind unless he says something out of place.

Your asking the wrong question. If a girl has her boobs on show she wants a guy who can keep good eye contact and talk to her normally. It shows off your self restraint and experience. Good qualities for a potential lover.

Guys who just immediately stare at boobs without the girl at least giving them some sort of body language 'come on and try it' first are not making a good impression of how much fun they would be for the girl in the bedroom and are switching the girl into repulsed mode without even realizing it.

  • While it's true that women wearing body-conscious clothing can attract a lot of male attention, I think most of them dress like that to impress each other, or make each other jealous. It's a competition of feminine appeal and beauty. For some, male attention is proof of the win.

Of course there are a few who are doing it strictly for sexual attention but that doesn't explain the large amount of women who aren't in it for that type of attention. It's a competition amongst themselves.

      • I've seen men do that. Then the woman's friends start flirting with him in an attempt to re-establish the hierarchy amongst them. It happens all of the time.

I've also witnessed a girl friend steal her best friend's boyfriend and fuck him (didn't see that part), while the best friend was away on holiday. I asked her why she would do such a thing (these women were adults) and she said it made her feel beautiful knowing she could have any man her pretty friend had.

Stupid question. Of course if a woman has a nice body, she is entitled to show it off, out of pride/happy with how she looks, her body etc. Just like guys with muscles, who incessantly wear tight T's and tank tops, regardless of the weather/conditions and walk around shirtless, every chance they can.

It's simple; a human being taking pride in the body they were blessed with and proud of. Is that so complex to every 21yo male? Probably. It still doesn't mean they want attention from a creeper everywhere they go. My HOTTEST girl friends in Cali, all dressed incredible and received a ton of attention out, but 90% was by creepy acting guys, who do not know how to act or talk to an attractive female. It doesn't matter how one dresses, it's actually the way people present themselves, to attractive people and how they are dressed that is the nuisance. Just because a girl has boobs/ass/nice legs and they are being SHOWN, doesn't mean it is meant for boner-bait, because trust me, it's not. Other guys will look for every excuse in the world to stare at girls and their body, regardless of how they are dressed. A girl can be entirely covered or dressed in a full body suit, yet a guy still would claim, "You wanted me to look!" to justify embarrassment, when told off. It's funny how it's always creepy acting guys who act so dumbfounded as to the not-so-complex-complexity of how women dress. Or why they, god forbid, wear clothes that compliment an amazing body.
Attention is human nature, everyone would like to be noticed, but lacking sense and gawking, because it is all that is attainable to creepy guys/the guys with no chance, doesn't make it fact that the girl was begging for some immature guy's attention. They just annoy girls. But I have sense, maturity and manners -- and plenty of attractive female friends, to go with it.

That is the great difference, between us.

They do it to attract males, but only the ones they want to look attractive to, if anyone else looks it annoys them. Which is only human, its not a big deal though, she just sounds like a bitch that doesnt get it.

Well alright if someone is going to wear provacative clothes than they want to be looked at. However if a women is wearing a T-shirt and jeans and not showing off her boobs its very rude too just look at her boobs when she is talking to you. Since really she cant change the fact she has boobs and if shes covering them with a T-shirt she is not trying to get you to focus on them.

That's not always true, I wear shorts a lot because they're easier to run in, but men seem to see this an an invitation to honk horns at me, wolf whistle and cat call, despite the fact I have hairy legs, glasses and a faded t-shirt on.

I can't even understand why they do it, am I supposed to enjoy it? It just makes me uncomfortable and run faster away from them.

  • Women don't want to be stared at. That should be plainly obvious to all men, considering that they are wearing almost next to nothing, they are doing because they DON'T want to be stared at.

Well I don't completely agree, but I guess in general nice looking women want to be noticed as such but not to the extent some guys take it. My opinion is some women take it farther than they should in their manner of dress and I don't understand why they are surprised and offended at the reactions they get. They could accentuate their beauty without being provacative about it. Most women don't mind men noticing their beauty and complimenting them in a polite way, but for some, maybe most, that's all the attention they want I think, unless they are being deliberately flirty and seductive in their interactions with the guy/s.
