Ladies: do you want that fairy tale...princess-like, story of a life?

Despite however old you are, and despite that NOTHING is perfect. Even if you already know it probably won't ever happen. Is there ever a time when you truly wish/dream you would cross paths with that handsome man of your dreams with his noble steed, rescuing/saving or capturing you from your regular/average persons life? Wouldn't it be nice to tell your children/grandchildren the breathtaking story that is your life, of how you and your hubby met?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • Nope. If anything I've only ever wanted to be like Mulan or Pocahontas or Belle :D! They all had unusual yet interesting relationships.

  • I met the man of my dreams in a fairytale. I was touring round New Zealand when I met him, when on the most wonderful adventures and felt I had met my soulmate. He was any and everything I could ever have dreamed of. 10 days after we were married he started hitting me. Four years later and now two kids into our relationship I've finally left him.

I would still love to believe in fairytales but the truth is all fairytale stories say 'And they lived happily ever after' straight after they couple get married. That's cos the magic just goes and reality sets in after the vowels. In heinsight I wish I'd just stuck with an average guy and had a happy life rather than an initially magical one.

  • Yes... except for the part that in most fairytales they've only known each other for like, 2 seconds and believe they're in love XD I find that annoying - I don't believe in love at first site. Beauty on the outside doesn't always mean beauty on the inside.
But yes, apart from that, I fantasise about a fairytale life.

  • I'm afraid that I've come to stop believing in 'fairytale endings' since my teenage years. I'm not so in touch with my 'fantasy' side...

  • Fairy tales?

My dream romantic evening is a beer at a punk/metal concert! Then sex.

I find that as romantic as any girl would think of riding ponies on sunset (BORING)

  • Sometimes, but I'd rather stay realistic. These fairytale gives wrong perception to what is the real deal in a relationship.

  • When I was little, I wanted to be an adventurer, and then a writer, so no. Lately I've started wishing for love, though, but still no "happy ever after"s, that would be boring.
