I shave my pubic hair partially, because I cannot afford to wax, and the hair is there for a reason: to keep your genitals clean. I tried shaving it all off once but it the skin became irritated and itchy.
If you shave regularly, use clean sharp razors, exfoliate and use aftercare products you can tolerate it much better. Neutrogena unscented roll-on antiperspirant works good...little known hint.
