Look, I know how you feel! The very best thing to do is not to worry about how fast you get something or how well you understand simple things. Everyone is completely different and everyone's brain process is different. Just keep confidence in yourself and remind yourself that you try your best and you are the very best that you can be. Don't compare yourself to others. And remember, if you don't ask questions, the answer will always be no. So if you don't understand something, ask someone and if they laugh at you for not understanding then ignore them. You would be stupid if you didn't try to learn. Just do the best you can do and you'll do great. Don't be so down on yourself. You sound like a very intelligent person.
