Is it normal that I've been on a Kelly Clarkson spree lately? 27 m, undisclosed sexuality.

I'm also throwing things in like Don't Speak by No Doubt, Dark Horse and a Cherry Tree, Careless Whisper by George Michael, Pretender by Foo Fighters, You're Gonna Far, Kid by The Offspring

It's making me feel like "fuck yeah" like bring it on, like confidence I guess. I like it

When I was like eleven/twelvish I really enjoyed saying "oh my gawd it's Kelly Clarkson" in a really valley girl accent like as a random thing to make me laugh. I remembered that and that's what brought interest in listening to her music again

I also feel like it's relevant to mention I saw Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants in theater and other thematically similar movies

A lot of people are binging their teenage obsessions, it’s a comfort in these awful times. Personally I never stopped listening to my favourite teenage bands (the playlists just got longer) so I have been binging old YouTuber videos from 2012-2017. I’m no longer the target audience for them and the people are no longer “relevant” but it brings me some joy so I feel no shame.

  Hit the nail on the head, I was thinking how these were like my high school songs
  
  I basically go through phases in what I listen to predominantly, often for months on end
  
  Even if I outgrow them they're still a part of me~
