Ask most people, they'll tell you they're just doing their own thing. They will vehemitely deny trying to keep up with Joneses by buying useless crap because their neighbors has it, or competing by getting said crap before Mr. Jones does. And a mindless idiot in my book. Who needs brand new cars, 10,000 sq. Ft. House, dinner parties, suits, newest i-phones, theatre sized quantum particle TV's, overpriced high heels and afro jumping Nike's, etc. Etc.
