My dad remarried about 2 years ago and at first I didn't like my step mom but we both sat down and talked about this and now we are closer then ever, but I always feel like when she walks away from me to go with my father where ever he was in the house I feel jealous idk why though I can't help it. When we are talking I feel fine like I'm important then and there, but idk.
i had the same thing with my mums fionce, only he never really made much of an effort with me apart from buying me things and he would always take mums side in fights without even considering my side. it was hell and i ended up moving out. but nyways thats my story so my advice to u would be that ur jealousy is completely normal and take this as a rites of passage experience. this will help u to develop more independence because u wont lean on ur dad so much anymore as he now has another woman in his life. u can get through this and come out a better person just remember his love for u is unconditional and will never change.
Its nice that you went from not liking her, to liking her so much that you actually want her all to yourself! But you do have to share her. And I'm sure your feelings will settle since this I imagine is not the easiest transition.
Anyway I think it is sweet that your step mom has found a special place in your life. Lucky you.
