Seriously, have you tried telling him how much this bothers you?
Does he have a lot of stress? A lot of guys play just to blow off some steam.
I am a gamer too. But I make time for the wife and kids. Games are very secondary to my family. (My wife would not have it any other way - I can respect that.) I'll usually only game after everyone has gone to bed. A lot of my male co-workers game and do the same thing - game after everyone else is asleep. This certainly makes for some rough mornings though. It ain't so easy to get up for work after 4 hours of sleep anymore.
