Falafel (and hummus) is probably the only time I have eaten chickpeas exclusively. But damn that fried bean ball with some hummus and pita really hits the spot.
My mother makes a mean kidney bean chilli and stuffed green pepper dishes for the colder months.
Chickpea burgers are good shit. I make falafels from a packet mix, but I don't deep fry like real ones. Still good. I need to try baking them sometime.
That sounds good. My grandmother loves stuffed peppers, but I use lamb mince for hers, and red ones. I can't enjoy the texture of cooked pepper. Too slimy. And I prefer to cut the mince with rice but she hates rice, noodles and pasta. Makes cooking a fucking minefield between the two of us haha.
Its it odd to be half vegetarian?
