Thinking about hitting her because you're not getting what you want is the attitude of a spoiled child who has no sense of perspective.
If she won't talk about it or get a relationship counselor that sucks, but you can't force her to do something she doesn't want to do. If this is really such a big deal for you, break it off with her. And get a therapist; you seem like you need one.
