I am the same way, except I've found a way to "drain the water". Here is what I do, and trust me, it works.
1. Get something soft, maybe a pillow, or a comforter.
2. Bundle it up into a tight wad.
3. Start punching and punching and punching.
4. when you feel a tiny bit better, lean over and scream into it.
Lol, it sounds crazy, But it works trust me.
And I tend to think of all the things that people have done to me, or all the sad things, and all the insults that I've bottled up, when punching.
It's starting to kill me, is this normal??
