It it normal that i don't view my crush sexually, but more like a friend?

I have a crush and I keep dreaming and thinking of her. But I have never seen her as a sexual partner, but more like a really good best friend, whom I can spend my whole life with. I don't mean that she is not attractive, she really is.

My wife is my best friend. Any partner I've ever had that's been worth while has been first and foremost a friend. Someone that I liked, and trusted, and could share time with. The sexual bond builds from the friendship in my book.

That sounds so beautiful! I have never felt like this before. I have had many crushes overtime, but this is so much different. It is really hard to stop thinking about her. It is a strange feeling. Sometimes I feel I should get over her cuz she is probably out of my league and I am just wasting my time and energy.

That’s not a crush, you’re just really sappy about your friends, which is not the same thing.

Thats never happened to me so I can not relate. If I like a girl I like her sexually also. Doesnt mean I only view her as a sexual stimulant but I wanna be more than just friends

I didn't mean that I don't like her sexually, but it's just that my fantasies with my crush aren't sexual. I can say that it is much more than just friendship.

That's actually how it should be for a long term relationship... Which does not mean that the two of you cannot be sexy at times.

I hope that she feels the same...

Normal. I am asexual but have a celebrity crush. I find him attractive but I have more of a fraternal crush on him. I view him as a surrogate big brother and have even adopted him as such. He knows about this and is cool with it.

Even I felt this! I had a celeb crush, but when I saw a sex scene involving her, I didn't feel attracted as I normally do seeing that stuff.

I've always been the same. Even when i've romantically loved someone I just couldn't be or imagine sexual stuff with them without really forcing such fantasies.
It's made me question my sexuality at times.

The only times I've ever had crushes, they were all exactly like this. I never had sexual fantasies and I never imagined doing anything intimate with them, just doing things friends do like hang out and talk.

I am pretty sure that after years of feeling absolutely nothing when it comes to intimacy, though, that I'm most likely asexual.

I always have fantasies of my crush like both of us roaming around in woods or in a hill station

Basically you like her romantically but not sexually? That’s ok, it happens, look up the differences between romantic and sexual orientations. Maybe if she’s asexual it could work?
