They say curiosity killed the cat, well I say curiosity helped the cat learn how to eat, drink and where it can sleep, where is warm and where is safe. I say if you feel like it is right for you, then why not give it a try, if you like it fair enough, if not fair enough as well. I myself have wondered about it, but in hindsight I feel it isn't the right thing for me as an individual to persue. I know I would probably not enjoy it and there are ways of engaging in anal activity whilst being in a heterosexual relationship, for example anal sex, anal toys, pegging etc. so whether a gay experience with another guy is for you or you would prefer a girl to be doing it instead, then if you are curious give it a try and see how you feel.
