Isn't it weird seeing a really old ex

So I went bingo last night with my husband, we have been on rocky ground but seem to be doing a lot better, in fact perfect again,wether it lasts is another story. So I'm walking past the bar to get our seat number and some guy checks me out, I think nothing of it then I walk by past and he's looking right at me and it feels really weird like a deep connection with a complete stranger... (or so I thought) again I just move on and tell my husband the seat number and take our table. The guy continues to look at me, and it's a weird feeling. Im just enjoying some time with hubby but can see him right behind my husbands head(like 4tables down one across from our row)it finishes and my husband goes to the loo, the guy gets up,still fixed on me and just smiles and walks away with his friend, all of a sudden I remember those deep brown eyes and who he is, he was my first... at 14 we dated for 6 months, it was "true love" or so I believed at the time I was besotted. Obviously I love my husband and it's the past but isn't it strange how for a moment in your life someone can mean everything to you,, time passes and you become strangers,have kids,gain abit of weight lol faces completely change really from child to adult but that feeling of love and closeness never really goes away. It was one of those strange moments in time that there are hundreds of people around you and your not even physically near a person but you share a moment nevertheless and it's private and sort of soul changing. I love my husband and I'm happy my life has gone the way it has,I would never contact the guy or reply if he contacted me but what a strange thing to relive all that past emotions.in one moment decades later.just needed to get this out there. Love never truly goes away and you can love more then one person,sure it changes to a different kind of love...but it lasts,probably your whole life
