It's really not necessary to continue to bully a teenager that made a mistake due to low self esteem. There are kinder ways to make your point, pretend sailor.
After how many years of hearing about how DANGEROUS unprotected sex can be, she STILL goes out and does it. That's just plain STUPIDITY, not low self esteem!
Yes, I have no problem with the content of your message...the manner in which you communicated it does not seem particularly constructive with regard to this particular OP...that is my only point.
Really? Remember, this is an 18 year old girl (supposedly) NOT a 12 year old. Just exactly why do you not think she needs a good swift kick in the ass, to wake her stupid ass up, before she gets AIDS or pregnant?
Be nice and coddle her all you want, but obviously the nice approach hasn't gotten through her thick skull in 18 years, has it?
Stupid is as stupid does, said the wise man's mother....
Read before you spout off.I'm not talking about what the OP NEEDS to hear, I'm talking about the best way to get through to them. When you want to convey necessary information to someone, it helps to assess their state of mind...the kick in the ass approach works in certain circumstances, but it is not always appropriate. You're overly concerned with getting your message across and wholy ignorant of the fact that stating it the way you do makes people VERY unlikely to listen to your advice...learn some social skills.

Replacement parents?
MTVs teen mom and 16 and pregnant reality shows are a disgrace.
