Is windows xp still good in 2018?

Does Windows XP still hold-up to modern standards? Are there any reasons for someone to still use it?

    XP is no longer supported so no patch updates which means they are more susceptible to virus and malware.

    Go Windows 10. It's still available as a free upgrade from Microsoft if you know where to look. Use Classic Shell to change the start menu to any o/s you want such as XP.

    I used XP a long time, since 2004. I never liked Vista, 7 and 8 all of which ere craaps to me, and always changed back to XP. (A lot of people likes 7, but so many amazing programs that worked on XP doesnt work on 7,8 and 7,8 are focused too much on appearance than performance, win XP was more performance based and I dont use OS to admire how good it looks but how good it works.) But Windows 10 is amazing and finally I replaced XP with 10 in 2016 and am loving 10. Windows XP will always hold a special place in me, but Windows 10 is the true worthy successor of the legendary Windows XP. Windows 10 has amazing features and old programs that didnt work on 7, 8 works on 10. Win 10 is the perfect OS combining best appearance and best performance for all programs. My first was Windows 98. So my there most fav windows are 98 (1999-2004), XP (2004-2016) and 10 (2016-as long as I use a computer cause I am never changing OS again)....

    For one thing, it hasn't been supported by windows for several years now. Meaning no updates. It would probably get corrupted quickly on today's internet.

    Not worth the hassle, 10 is faster, smoother, more secure, and is compatible with all the latest software.

    I liked XP the best but nothing new is compatible with it. I wish they made something new like XP as I hate the new OS's.

              I don't see anything wrong with Windows 10, some of the installed programs are like updated versions of the old ones, go ahead and uninstall them if you want to. But i mean like.. seriously? is this what you want to complain about? Nice things that they've automatically given to you? There are more important problems going on in this world. Plus many of these apps aren't really entertainment, they're just simple necessities like calendar, settings, clock, etc.

    The only reason to use windows XP over other operating systems is due to hardware limitations. Older tech, older operating system. Old operating systems can't even function on new tech. For instance, Windows 7 and below cannot function while using KabyLake, CoffeeLake, or SkyLake CPUs.

    For me...yeah I still have xp pc and I still use it until now. Its work fine and I used it for years especially when I doing my works.
