So these 2 cute guys came up to my desk the other day and one was maybe hitting on me im not certain. Anyways the other was definitly hitting on her, at one point he was talking about we should all hang out get drinks sometimes. Now me not thinking as you guys know I was never in these situations most my life so hearing that I'm thinking hang out have a good time. And he smoothly brought up numbers and got our area codes and was like what's the rest of that? So we both ended up in a group chat woth this guy. The conversation hasn't gone anywhere or even been touched since that night. So to me it seems they really just want to hang out. They work like nonstop and get little time to have fun so sounds like they just want friends to me so it's no big deal right? Well I have a boyfriend and it clicked a little bit ago that I gave my number to a guy who wants to go drinking. I'll only be there to back up my coworker who he likes. But there's still that stigma. Idk what do you guys think? Did I fuck up bad or am I worrying to much? There regulars at my job. So I kinda know them and it's like omg god and I need outside input please. I've never even been in a bar before! That's how out of shape I am on this stuff

    Bring your boyfriend with you. You and him can have a good time. You can explain to the two guys that you weren't thinking of it as any form of date, and you will have two people backing up your friend instead of just one.

    I dunno mate, tough call. It depends on how sensitive your boyfriend is. Me personally, I could care less. But I am more open than most people, so you should definently talk to him about it. Explain your intentions and he should be cool with it. I see how he could be offended based on what he knew so definitely tell him all about it.
