Most presidents suck. I don't follow Trump regularly, but I like that he posts to social media and has that direct route to us. I like that he seems to be straightforward about issues. Bottom line is that people go to school and get political science degrees, journalism, etc and "become" president. Few true leaders will ever be in position to either seek that role or, obviously, just so happen to walk into it. It's not like your local mom and pop store owner with great character will be president. In part, this is of course due to the lobbying and electoral system, etc., of which puts certain people at a heightened disadvantage. As well, perfection is impossible as president and it certainly takes a specific kind of person to want to run the country and have the capacity to do so.
Trump is anything but "straightforward". He says (and Tweets) whatever random thought happens to be flitting through his jumbled synapses at that particular moment. Since his thought-processes are completely disordered, it's foolish to believe a thing he says.
And yes, it does take a special sort of person to have the capacity to be a reasonable President. Trump has demonstrated time and again he totally lacks that capacity.
Trump is pretty consistent when taken as a whole. He does tend to use stream of consciousness but many people do in social media. Tell me what demonstrates he is unreasonable tho?
Is trump's behaviour normal ..?

I'm just saying, largely, many who are most equipped to be the president we need don't want to be president
