Trump's behavior is perfectly normal for someone who's narcissistic, has some people-manipulating skills but is not really all that bright, was handed life on a silver platter, and is now in the early stages of dementia.

I once knew a guy who broke into his ex wife's car and shat in the backseat. He was a real piece of work. He used to cry when he favorite baseball team lost games. Ugh.

Most presidents suck. I don't follow Trump regularly, but I like that he posts to social media and has that direct route to us. I like that he seems to be straightforward about issues. Bottom line is that people go to school and get political science degrees, journalism, etc and "become" president. Few true leaders will ever be in position to either seek that role or, obviously, just so happen to walk into it. It's not like your local mom and pop store owner with great character will be president. In part, this is of course due to the lobbying and electoral system, etc., of which puts certain people at a heightened disadvantage. As well, perfection is impossible as president and it certainly takes a specific kind of person to want to run the country and have the capacity to do so.

Trump is anything but "straightforward". He says (and Tweets) whatever random thought happens to be flitting through his jumbled synapses at that particular moment. Since his thought-processes are completely disordered, it's foolish to believe a thing he says.

And yes, it does take a special sort of person to have the capacity to be a reasonable President. Trump has demonstrated time and again he totally lacks that capacity.

Trump is pretty consistent when taken as a whole. He does tend to use stream of consciousness but many people do in social media. Tell me what demonstrates he is unreasonable tho?

Don't get my political ideologies mixed up with Boogers. Boogers is a disenchanted moderate with conservative tendencies. Remember that I am an asshole on the loose. For this reason, I identify with fascist narcissists because they use power decisively. Fierce authority is needed to put snowflakes like you in your place.

Fuck I am SO fucking sick of you idiotic trump supporters using the term snowflake all the time. It doesn't make you or the sickening vitriol that comes spewing out of you, funny, smart or clever, it makes you look and sound even more stupid. That and the term libtards just shits me.

And NO I am not Democratic I am an Australian and a labor supporter but I, like the most of the world are waiting with bated breath to see what stupidity Trump is going to come out with next. I agree wholeheartedly with Boojum when he pointed out Trump's senility. It is obvious to most of us that he has that as well as his narcissism and his general pig ignorance which makes him a dangerous person to be in his seat of power.

Uh actually no it's fucking not fuckface. Labor is a completely different party in Australia as we also have a democratic party here as well.

Also Trump IS a fucking danger for the reasons I and others have stated, and the decisions he makes because "Im president and you're not" affects the whole damn world not just the US. The only way to "solve the problem" is to hope for either impeachment or getting rid of Trump by the constitution for being unfit to run, as he surely is.

My comment got all screwed up, because I was responding to Kevinevan, but I waited to long to click submit, and now it's just anote comment rather than a response to carry on some banter in a bit of an aside.

I usually delete my post, and repost it when this happens, but I feel like a douche doing that now that you've responded in earnest. Today has been a weird day, too busy too early.

Anybody who gets their opinions from the mainstream media or its many satellites, I've decided, is hopeless at this point. If they can't figure out that agreeing with the establishment should raise a big fucking red flag, especially when they tell you that up is down and black is white, is never gonna get it at this point. They'll spend their lives vehemently defending the enemies of beauty and the upward march of humanity... and die just as ignorant as the time when they were born.

Trump is an evil dictator...but he is also a stupid clown...but he is also a super-manipulator, stealing the election...no one likes him, even though his rallies are always packed...cheetos?!

Liberals are going to bash their heads in trying to redefine what Trump is throughout his entire presidency.

Stupid clowns can't be evil wannabe dictators? I've never seen anybody call him a manipulator, although white nationalists are definitely prone to manipulation by that kind of neanderthal level demagoguery, and if he was so smart he wouldn't have needed Russia's help stealing the election. But you are right about his rallies being packed...with unworn MAGA hats sitting on empty seats.

I like how you try to present it as if "liberals" are throwing all these different definitions for what Trump is, yet nothing you said contradicts anything else you said, except the last part where you just outright lied. No wonder this nonsense was downvoted into oblivion.

I'm going to ask you to do the single most difficult thing a human can do: admit you're wrong. That you're not as smart as you thought you were, and that the reality you've been living in isn't real at all:

        ---

        1. The trigger event for cognitive dissonance

On November 8th of 2016, half the country learned that everything they believed to be both true and obvious turned out to be wrong. The people who thought Trump had no chance of winning were under the impression they were smart people who understood their country, and politics, and how things work in general. When Trump won, they learned they were wrong. They were so very wrong that they reflexively (because this is how all brains work) rewrote the scripts they were seeing in their minds until it all made sense again. The wrong-about-everything crowd decided that the only way their world made sense, with their egos intact, is that either the Russians helped Trump win or there are far more racists in the country than they imagined, and he is their king. Those were the seeds of the two mass hysterias we witness today.

Trump supporters experienced no trigger event for cognitive dissonance when Trump won. Their worldview was confirmed by observed events.

We've discussed current events before. White nationalists are a fringe group as are black lives matter constituents.

Everything "bubsy" said is a contradiction of itself regrading Trump. Not Trump himself. Just how he's portrayed in the media.
