Is ti normal that i don't know how to control the emotions

If really hard for me some times, to control my emotions, at work environment especially.
I hate myself after reliase my emotions broke out.
Keep tell myself I should change this bad habit.Unforturnately its only work in short period of time. Its bad...Is it normal?

  • Honestly, the best way to deal with emotions for me is to let them come on out. I usually just go for a short walk. Take a coworker and complain about whatever is bothering you and you'll find towards the end of the walk doesn't really bother you.

  • Reminds me of myself. I struggle to control my emotions sometimes too. It's totally normal. But a lot of times it can be a good thing to let them out. Sometimes bottling them up just gives more of a possibility for them to explode.

    I get easily embarrassed about it too. But then if I hold them in, something makes it obvious. Like my hands start to shake or I feel like I can't speak, or I do, but things come out all weird. It's like I don't win either way. I always seem to make a fool out of myself. And it's really bad when I try to hold back laughter, ahaha! It's too funny.

    But it's normal. We all get like that sometimes.

  • Yes, it's totally normal. Please don't hate yourself, actually a lot of people aren't able to control their emotions. To control your emotions takes time, you have to train yourself, and basically change the way you feel, it can be really hard. You should try again, and just keep trying untill you are able to do it. Don't give up.
