Is this normal when it comes to nosebleeds?

It's pretty normal for people to get nosebleeds. For me, however, I've noticed that I seem to have nosebleed "seasons", that is, when I get a nosebleed, my nose will be prone to nosebleeds for the next couple of days. I will get a lot of nosebleeds within that time period, then no more nosebleeds for a very long time. During the period where I have nosebleeds, I may have up to 3 nosebleeds a day, and sometimes once every 2 days. But after my last nosebleed in that period, I don't get another nosebleed until say a couple of months later.

Is this normal?

  • if you don't have a heavy drug habit , look for medical advice . It could be something small but let's make sure it's not an indicator for something more serious .

  • The insides of some people's noses are more sensitive than others. You could look into cauterization as an option if your nosebleeds really bother you. My brother used to get nosebleeds, but then he got his nose cauterized and it hasn't bled at all since (it's been several years).

  • Probably allergy related.

    • I don't think it is. This happens even when pollen isn't in the air.
