Why does everyone think it's cute and normal for that little girl to whip her hair back and forth but when a Metal Head does it they think we are freaks and stupid?
At a metal/rock show it's completely normal... and guy with long hair look good !

It's also cute to see little girls cuss people out. But if any adult were to cuss people out, it ain't so gosh darn cute anymore.
But when I think about it, who even thinks that that little girl is even being cute when she's whipping her hair back and forth? I think she looks stupid and can go DIAF.
She's not really that little but still why? We've been doing it sense the 60's but no.
Ignore those naysayers and do what you want to do. Just be warned that regardless of genres, head banging can have some mild to serious health effects.
Hardcore metal lover myself. I don't mind pop music incorporating head banging because it helps get the word out that it's ok to go wild when listening to music. Granted, Willows song is pretty bad in my opinion but I do appreciate the message and exposure of head banging in it.
as for how cute it is. I wouldn't say people find it cute. I'd say people actually react with more of a shock to it than they would a traditional headbanging metal song. It's just because it's a pop song that everyone talks about it.
Metallica and Megadeth are both really good but maybe you just don't like them.
With peace wr are all family we can share all of our land and what ever else. Freedom isn't free there are still rules to what we can and can't do. If we have peace we won't need to fight or kill ect.
You can't really say that it's a vide you get from the music. That's like saying music is just dumb period. I can understand as my self being a Head Banger but it's fun and it's what the music makes me do.
I had a boyfriend that was a metal head, and he was one of the most obnoxious sumbitches I ever laid my eyes on! He was a lunatic, and an attention-whore! I think he acted like a lunatic for attention, and because he couldn't help it. It was weird because he really liked funk, like Tom Morello, Rage Against the Machine, and I said he should be himself but he thought it made him cooler to be into metal. He was all like, "I want to be tough. I want to be feared, and respected." Sometimes he was, sometimes he was just laughable. He was into doing back-flips and roller blading too. He was a real hot-shot and one of my first "charity-case lovers" It's not good that I do that, but for a while, I've just been into helping and loving, the worst off the better... I'm definitely at that place in my life where I am interested in reversing that, and working on me. Haha. What a story.
I'm a real full blow Metal Head I like almost every band from all the sub-gernes of Metal. I also really love classic rock. Metal gives me this sense of pride and it gave me a new family I guess you could say. I have more friends from concerts than I do from school and my real family. I just think people are idiot's and need to realise who we are and not to judge us but to judge them selfs first.
I wouldn't consider myself a metal head, it's an insulting and limited term. I hate the term "heavy metal" because you've got fags like metallica who made two good albums slotted in with a great band like pantera who were consistent from day one right up to the "final shoot out".
At the moment the "heavier" stuff I've been getting into most often would be;

Swans
Thrones
Electric Wizard
The jesus lizard
High on fire
"Swans" aren't even nearly metal, but yet they were once considered the heaviest band in the world. But a "metal head" wouldn't get this, wouldn't get why they were considered so heavy. Because they're mostly limited, conformist wankers who say they hate pop shit, but yet all grow their hair the same and listen to the same fucking styles like pop robots.
I'm not saying ALL metal heads, but many "metal heads" as we know them are just fags with hippie hair and no taste. They are simply hipster sensibilities in hiding.
Hippies and Metal Heads are diffrent but the do merge. I bet you in a place with not a good crowd. I'm both and I know a lot about music.
I know alot about music too, the cliche metal head is everywhere.
Crowds are NEVER good, anywhere, ever. I'd rather listen to metal and not have to hang out with those gimps to do so, but we can't get everything we want I guess.
