It's not normal. Even a girl like me can say that much. Maybe she's just happy to know that there's someone there for her. Abandonment issues perhaps? Maybe you make her feel really happy to the point that she doesn't want that euphoric happines to end. Maybe she's scared that she'll do something bad to herself once you leave and her insecurities get to her. Good luck with your predicament though.
