This is extreme obsessive behavior to the point that it's toxic to the rest of your well-being. You need to seperate from this, maybe stop talking with those friends for a bit as you cleanse yourself from this obsession. All in moderation. I suggest finding several other book series on similar topics so to wean yourself off of it and leave it in the past. Good Luck!
