Is this considered nice or weird/clingy?

I have this friend who i communicate with online only but we're closer than just online friends and we know each other very well. Anyway when my friend had her finals week i texted her "Good luck" texts every night before an exam to show support and care. Do you think it is nice if it was done to you or would you find it too clingy and weird?

It is nice and shows that you care. 36

Everyone deserves a confidence boost. She would have a serious problem to want to shut you out (if she did).

It's a bit much in my opinion. Kinda feels like you're creeping. I'd be comfortable with one 'good luck' at the start of finals.

its most likely this dudes own insecurities about thinking he done something wrong when she doesnt respond

this is the problem with online chatting, as if the person doesnt respond your mind can go crazy (with some people) wondering what went wrong

just be patient i say. you gotta be patient, people are busy with life

      you gotta wait :)

i dont see how anyone saying "good luck" could ever be viewed as a bad thing lol

i can see if your sending a person a message like

"i wanna suck your toes!" *slobber slobber* or something like that

but a social pat on the back for school is hardly anything to go crazy over lol

    what are you talking about?

they know each other very well though

some people like you may find it too clingy yes

but like i said, each has their own comfort level

maybe like he said, hes doing it because he cares, not because hes trying to be a creep?

all depends on how you look at it

Not creepy at all because they know each other very well! It would be only weird if they weren't close because then it's kinda like spamming. If he didn't know her very well then a one off "Good luck" in the beginning is a nice way to express interest and care towards someone you're trying to get to know imo :)
